Going Green for 2012!

GLW’s commitment for 2012 is to become as energy efficient as possible.

We have been assessed by Resource Efficiency who have confirmed we are using movement sensors for all of our secondary lighting and low energy lighting in our workshop.

We have also installed solar panels, not only to improve efficiency but also to improve our budget for 2012. We already noticed a 30% saving, if you feel your company would benefit from these savings, the please contact us for more information.

National Grid BESC Training

GLW have been undertaking National Grid BESC training to enable them to work more efficiently in conjunction with National Grid projects. GLW have been very busy working for the National grid, both locally and on various projects across the country.

A busy winter period for GLW

GLW have been busy this winter, as well as working with Siemens and the National Grid, GLW have been to Shire Hall in Cambridge; and installed some bespoke powder coated handrails. GLW has also been working closely with the Thomas Clarkson school based in Wisbech, fulfilling their bespoke steel work requirements rapidly and efficiently when required.

GLW works with Siemens & the National Grid

GLW have been busy completing work for Siemens in conjunction with the National Grid. We have also just been awarded a new contract in Wolverhampton working again in conjunction with the the National grid.  This only affirms GLW’s commitment and work within the energy sector.
